just two comments:
1. Make sure any antivirus is not blocking the “Check Disable” file (even windows firewall was erasing it)
2. Before the step of –>Run “AcroPro.msi”… I had to run this same file to uninstall acrobat, and then run it again to install it once more selecting “I have a serial number”
Hope these tips save some stress and time to someone else.
Oh, and watch out for the invasive adds while getting the download links, my Kaspersky blocked several malicious items.

“Check Disable” file is not opening for me. The cmd is not executing properly at all. It says the host file is blocked for editing, the file has a read only attribute. Please help!! System is windows 10 !!

Make sure your windows hosts file can be edited.
Read only attribution is applied to your files kindly uncheck it to make it writeable.
I unchecked the read only attribution and also verified that hosts file can be edited. I did it manually from the system32 folder using notepad. But the “check disable” cmd script still does not run. Can you please give me the addresses of adobe websites and I can manually block it directly from the hosts file using notepad??

After installation disable both adobe services, and also what to do with amtlib.dll after selecting it? It doesn’t matter if you select it or not, evrything works fine
